I don’t like Orthotics!

That is…

I don’t like the use of them long term for people who truly can improve their foot function and work themselves out of them.

I’m a prime example of achieving just that.

Use the orthotics as a tool to give your feet the chance to get stronger, and then throw them out!

Here is the process in which I worked myself out of wearing orthotics and being barefoot as much as possible throughout the day while supporting my frame in balance.

Note that this is a long project.

Your goal should be to get out of orthotics between 1-2years depending the the following factors:

  • age
  • level of fitness
  • level of foot dysfunction

It’s a slow process, don’t get discouraged.  It’s worth the hard work!
